Singer/Songwriter Alphonso Stewart Spotted at Pre-BAFTA Party hosted by EE and Esquire ahead of the 2013 British Academy Film Awards at The Savoy Hotel on February 6, 2013 in London, England
The guest list for the posh do at The Savoy included Idris Elba, Jack Whitehall, Jamie Winstone, Emilia Fox and Sheridan Smith as well as EE Rising Star Award nominee Andrea Riseborough.
We spoke with Alphonso Stewart and he said he had a great evening celebrating the richness of British talent and artistry.
We took the opportunity to ask him about the release date for new track ‘Don’t Break My Heart’ he didn’t give much away but we were told that his listening party will be in march. We are wishing him all the best.
British Academy Film Awards will take place on Sunday 10 February 2013 at London’s Royal Opera House and broadcast by the BBC.

Alphonso Stewart singer songwriter and RnB laureate has a new track due for release called, ‘Don’t Break My Heart’.
This track is a break up song, pleading with the person you love not to give up on the relationship. Alphonso said, ‘I’m going through a mix of emotions in this track, I was going through the mills the break up was happening, was real, it wasn’t the aftermath like Adele, ‘Someone like You’, [brilliant song – that women has talent], it talks about the present – Don’t Break My Heart!
When asked about the inspiration for this track Alphonso explained, I wanted to make a break up song my last two songs were different ‘Let Dance’ was a fun dance track, ‘You Know’ spoke about love and making love, ‘Don’t Break My Heart’ is the break up – the demise of the relationship. Everyone has loved and lost, I’m hoping everyone will relate and love this track.
Alphonso Stewart is promised to be #outstandilcious in 2013.

BEFFTA AWARDS
Alphonso Stewart attended Europe’s biggest awards ceremony for black and ethnic personalities in showbiz BEFFTA. Among the stars on the night were Sir Trevor McDonald, Lemar, Eddi Kadi and more.
The film ‘Moral Conflict’ written by BEFFTA Best Screenwriter, Maxine Chantel had a successful night with cast members awarded Best Actress, Anita Bellamy and Best Actor, Ken Smart. Alphonso is Music Director for this highly respected and well received film the soundtrack includes a song written and performed by Alphonso called, ‘So Beautiful’.
