Alphonso Stewart attended Europe’s biggest awards ceremony for black and ethnic personalities in showbiz BEFFTA. Among the stars on the night were Sir Trevor McDonald, Lemar, Eddi Kadi and more.

The film ‘Moral Conflict’ written by BEFFTA Best Screenwriter, Maxine Chantel had a successful night with cast members awarded Best Actress, Anita Bellamy and Best Actor, Ken Smart. Alphonso is Music Director for this highly respected and well received film the soundtrack includes a song written and performed by Alphonso called, ‘So Beautiful’.




Alphonso’s TV Performances

Alphonso is no stranger to the small screen whilst singing for reclaimed artist he has appeared on ITV X Factor, Diana Memorial BBC and of course channel 4 DEAL OR NO DEAL.  

Alphonso sang backing for P. Diddy ‘I’ll be Missing You’ tribute at the  Princess Diana’s Memorial concert hosted by Diana’s sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, who helped to organize many of the world’s most famous entertainers and singers to perform at the concert.

The concert was broadcast in 140 different countries across the world with an estimated potential audience of 500 million. 63,000 people turned out to Wembley Stadium to watch the performances to commemorate Diana.

Alphonso sang backing for Leona Lewis, contestant in third series of the British television series The X Factor, which she won. Lewis is a multi-platinum selling artist and three time Grammy Award nominee.

Alphonso performed as backing singer for Keane, sing “Perfect Symmetry”  at BBC Electric Proms KOKO, Camden.
